Abandoned block …

I found the basis of this mini wall quilt languishing amongst the scraps. I love the fabrics but clearly I was bothered by points not meeting etc. It was an abandoned block from the ‘Sampler du Mardi’ run by Quiltmania - a new block every Tuesday in 2015. I unpicked back to the half-square triangles and played with the HSTs for a while so there was less chance of repeating the problem hence Tuesday’s Child. I took the opportunity to try out more quarter-inch (my process gives a 3/8 spacing) straight line quilting. Fortunately, the finish coincided with a gap in the weather.
