Website colours for 2016
Did you know that Pantone select and announce a colour each year? Whatever colour it is, it becomes fashionable in cosmetics, furnishings, interior decoration, house paint, fabric, and lots more.
This year for the first time there are two colours - ‘Serenity’, and ‘Rose Quartz’.
Pantone put these two colours into eight palettes. From these palettes several colours have been picked out as backgrounds to headings of Membership pages on the Essendon Quilters website for 2016.
The names of these colours are:
Members Welcome = ‘Rose Quartz’
Activities = ‘Canyon Clay’
Connecting Thread = ‘Cream Gold’
Documents = ‘Beryl Green’
Show & Tell = ‘Lupine’
Library = ‘Starfish’
Links = ‘Puritan Gray’
My Account = ‘Opal Blue’
My Profile = ‘Luminary Green’
Have you often though of what colours to put into a quilt? Here’s one way to help you, use one of the colour palettes created by Pantone. Using ‘Serenity’ and ‘Rose Quartz’ will have that quilt in the height of fashion!
