So, another ‘What to do with scraps?’..
Trawling the internet is a dangerous place - too many patchwork ideas! But then you come across one that connects the stash to a COVID lockdown.
Out came the box of 5″ squares, and putting together a bundle of 5 to make an economy block (or square-in-a-square). Trimming and cutting each block as per instructions, it was off and running. Well, that used up 405 squares - but there’s still more left in the box!
The layout shows some ‘stars’, made by using the same fabric squares in the outer corners of the basic block - had a lot of pink but not enough! The 12 stars themselves form a square.
It’s a true ‘scrap quilt’ as nothing ‘outside the box’ was harmed in the making of this quilt top!

Robyn, another beautiful quilt. I am in awe of your organisation of fabric. Hope you never see my disorganisation. Well done
